|CF-621 is designed for saw cut/control joints and cracks in concrete slabs on grade. Ideal for most type services in chemical processing plants, pulp and paper mills, sewage and waste treatment facilities, warehouses, fertilizer plants, petroleum refineries, electric generating stations, coal handling operations, marine installations, etc.|
|New concrete must be cured at least a minimum of 28 days before applying CF-621. All laitance, efflorescence, sealers, curing compounds, chemical contaminants, grease, oil, and other foreign material must be removed. The prepared surface must be clean, dry and structurally sound. High pressure water clean, or dry abrasive blast may be necessary to clean existing joints.|
|Mixing Instructions & Application Procedure|
Best results are obtained if both Base and Hardener are stored at or above 75 F for 24 hours prior to mixing to insure normal viscosity.
CF-621 is prepared by mixing 1 part Base (Part A) to 1 part Hardener (Part B) by volume with a slow speed explosion proof drill with a Jiffy mixer for approximately 2-3 minutes.
For joints wider than 3/4″ make an Epoxy mortar out of the PC-1000. Apply and pack into en tire joint. Allow to cure for 24 hours then saw cut down the middle to create the new joint.
CF-621 may be applied by pouring, tooling or with a caulking gun. Two passes may be required as pourable materials have a tendency to dish out. The filled joint must be flush with the floor. CF-621 is designed for saw cut/control joints. Do not use on expansion joints.
|CF-621 Flexible Epoxy is not a fire hazard; the flash point is above 200 F. However, under conditions of fire it will burn and release potentially toxic fumes.
The Base portion is relatively inert physiologically. The Hardener portion contains amines and related materials. These can cause irritations and possibly chemical bums to the skin and eyes. This is also true for mixtures of Base and Hardener.
Wear safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing when using CF-621 Flexible Epoxy.
In case of eye contact, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. For skin contact, wash with soap and warm water. Clean contaminated clothing before reuse.

CF-621 Chem Flex Flexible Epoxy Joint Filler
Chem-Flex CF-621 is a two component 100% Solids Flexible Epoxy Joint Filler designed to fill and protect saw cut/control joints in on-grade concrete slabs and to repair existing damaged control joints and cracks. CF-621 has excellent heavy load traffic bearing properties and bond strength. CF-621 has outstanding recovery when the joint material has been stretched.
Clean Up immediately with SA-17 Clean Up Thinner, or S-74 Reducer. These clean up solvents are flammable. Keep away from all sources of ignition.
The shelf life of CF-621 is in excess of 12 months when stored at 50 F-90 F or below.
